DAM-ASSIST SERVICES PTY LTD

Established in 1992 and based in Rockhampton near the Central Queensland Mining Region, Dam-Assist Services has successfully served some of the largest operators in the Mining, Energy and Industrial Sectors, as well as local councils and other private enterprises.

Dealing with drought on the farm back in the 80s forced Chris Brook to think of a better way to get the most out of their dams. Many of them turned out to be not as deep as people thought! Necessity, being the mother of invention, led to the innovative method outlined on this website.

Our innovative use of a Ruston Bucyrus Dragline utilizing a Mobile Anchor Point, attached through a specially designed winch and pulley system and using a specifically designed bucket, has been engineered to a standard allowing us to safely, efficiently and successfully excavate and retrieve wet waste, with a comparatively unlimited reach,  from large wet areas increasing dam capacity.
